The photographs below show an entire house refurbishment in Tunbridge Wells which I project managed over a period of 10 months. This project involved a complete interior redesign of every room in the house, including paint colours, wallpaper and fabrics. It also meant some minor structural work, creating new lighting and colour schemes, choosing soft furnishings and flooring throughout, as well as incorporating some of the clients’ existing furniture and artwork.
I assisted the clients in selecting the new kitchen units, worktops and fittings, and all the bathroom fixtures and fittings, tiles and flooring. I also helped to dress their home by helping to put the finishing touches to each room, such as re-framing or suggesting new artwork, plus selecting cushions and throws. I tailored my work to the clients’ needs and wishes, working with them every step of the way, suggesting and managing trusted tradespeople to complete the work in the desired timeframe and with as little disruption to their day-to-day life as possible!
The clients’ asked to change their traditional kitchen to a more contemporary and streamlined design. The warm colour scheme of taupe and soft greys contrasts with the bright abstract fabric, which were selected to complement the clients’ existing artwork.
